Digital citizenship is a safety skill, not a lecture

Scams, sextortion and pile-ons are not abstract online risks. They are the most common emergencies young people bring to us.
The internet is where a lot of young people build their income, their friendships and their sense of self. Telling them to 'be careful online' is as useful as telling a driver to be careful on the road.
We teach the specifics instead: how to spot a job offer that is really a fee scam, what to do in the first hour after an intimate image is shared without consent, how to lock down an account, and who to call.
We also talk about the other side of citizenship — what it costs someone else when you join a pile-on, and what it means to be a person worth following.
Digital productivity belongs in the same conversation. The same phone that carries the risk carries the studio, the portfolio and the client.
